another spooktober one I did last year, it's of a vampire knight, my head-canon is an order of vampiric paladins who are more benevolent to mortals and humans, viewing themselves as protectors of humanity who take no blood without permission. they live in a domain under the vampire king in which they watch over and protect the human subjects who regard them very well as demigod like beings. these paladins serve as the arm of the vampire king who go out to hunt down problematic vampires, or blood mad vampires who have vallen to base urges and become nothing but monsters.
