I don't want to try to "coin a phrase" but I believe in photography it's like perspective - perspective - perspective. And that should seem so true in this photo. Not just the length of lens and pose, but the feeling of interaction we, as viewers, feel with the subject as well.
This picture,as are many in your gallery, is a winner in every respect. Mike.
