Description
Admittedly the initial draw of RWBY for me was in a large part Oum's brilliance as an action choreographer. The constant over-the-top and manically paced fight sequences were truly a marvel of it's own!
With his passing I expected to lose interest in the series quickly, but Volume 4 really picked things up in every other regard that I didn't expect the show to. Character writing, pacing, cinematography and overall direction of the series got much better if not more interesting. From a narrative standpoint it's finally going beyond what I would have regarded as a terribly typical "supernatural-high-school" Shonen series, that said I guess I'll stick around for Volume 5 
Anyway a JNPR piece for fans still supporting the continuation of the show!
