Description

Along with the Night-Bringer, this print was done in my special topics relief class in spring '06. I think this print was kind of a turning point for me, as it was the first really big, complicated woodcut I ever did. Before this eight-run beastie the most complicated print I had done was three.

I was working with Celtic mythology and the idea of creating a hidden, secret place, hence the face of the Greenman up top and the border of leaves. This is still one of my favorite prints.
