Description

This is a blonde or yellow Labrador Retriever, and at 5" by 7", it's quite small. It was part of a series of commissions that were requested for a single mat. Painting the dogs was a lot easier than cutting several holes in a pair of mats so that they'd fit together properly.
Despite their increasing popularity, I'm rarely asked to paint Labs. My most common requests are chihuahuas, black poodles and golden retrievers. I wonder why that is.
