Description

Before its subsequent use as the provincial flag of Atipulu (OTL counterparts: Rizal, northeast Laguna and northern Quezon), it was used privately among the descendants of Haringadlaw clans residing within the said territory, with the permission of the colonial authorities: It was described as the Westernized vexillological version of the flags of the pre-colonial kingdom of Tondo-Namayan, most particularly the triangular variant of the said flag, combining it with the white-blue bicolor associated withOur Lady of Peace and Good Voyage.
