The Public Television of Cartajonia (Spanish: Televisión Pública de Cartajonia, Serbo-Croatian latin: Javna Televizija Kartahonija, Serbo-Croatian cyrillic: Јавна Телевизија Картахонија, Greek: Δημόσια Τηλεόραση του Καρταγονία, Galician: Televisión Pública de Cartaxonia) is a fictional television station from Cartajonia, the first in the country, and the fourth in all fictional countries.
Started in 1954, TVPC broadcasted in Spanish, Serbo-Croatian and Greek until 1972, with the creation of a second program, that broadcasted programming in Spanish and Galician. In 1974, color telecasts were tested with the SÉCAM B/G system by the first program. Color telecasts were officially introduced in 1975, when the NTSC-N system was officially choosed. Full-time color broadcasts started in 1978 with the first program and 1979 for the second program. From the first years of existence, it was the only television company in the country until the launch of the Cartajonian Television Network (Red de Televisión Cartajonense, RTVC) in 1970. By 2006, digital television was tested, and officialy launched in 2008, being the second fictional country to introduce digital television. From 2015, TVPC changed it's identity to currently is known today. Analog switchover has been started in 2016, and finished in 2018-2019. Today, the TVPC channels are the 2nd-3rd most watched in Cartajonia.
