I was only there for the Saturday this year; that way I didn't have to try and find somewhere to stay, and also last year was just exhausting. If you saw someone dressed as god-tier Terezi that day, it might have been me; there was someone else with that same costume, although ours were visibly different. Breakdown of money spent: Candy: 5$ Comics: 60$ Manga: 129,75$ Artbook: 68$ Art: 35$ Doujinshi: 36$ DVD: 38$ Goggles: 20$ The goggles are pretty awesome. The DVD is the first season of MLP. "Comics" include one volume of Homestuck (the other one sold out the previous day), one volume of Problem Sleuth, and the TPB of the MLP comic
This year was a bit different from previous years; not just in that I stayed for all three days, but most of what I bought was stuff I already knew I liked -- or at least had read a bit of it before and it was cheap. Ah, conventions. So much fun, so much stuff to buy. And I did. I took advantage of the cheap manga, buying volumes I'd already read, unread volumes from a series I'd liked, and stuff I'd never even seen before but looked interesting. I thought I'd share some of my results, in alphabetical order. If you have any questions about what a series is actually ABOUT, instead of just my opinions on it, feel free to ask.
