Employed by an elite private security firm, known as the Aegis Corporation, Elias Kane, AKA "the Wraith" is a mysterious figure even among his fellow augmented agents. His classified enhancements were designed and implemented at the behest of the CIA's Special Activities Center, under the umbrella of "Project Vanguard". Their exact specifications remain unknown, but it is said that Elias can remain undetected while infiltrating even the most advanced secured facilities.

His current assignments with Aegis involve finding weaknesses in the defense systems of top government installations. His assignment is never disclosed to the client, hence he operates at his own risk without any direct support from his employer.
