i remembered how to rip shit from taptapfish oops sfhsfgjgdj
and that might be a misleading sentence but! i DID make the tail myself. i ripped a model from TTF of the colossal squid, positioned it around the base, and used it as a guide for proportions. super helpful !
this file gave me a lot of trouble for no reason like..... first it refused to be UV mapped, it had to be exported to a .x file, then a PMD file, then imported back into meta to get it to map at all
then my usual shadow baking technique didnt work at all, the maps simply came out entirely black (still have no idea what the FUCK that was), and then several of the legs (???) didnt rig to the lower body like they needed for no reason. amazing! anyway, it's done and that's what counts.
the file includes a SAI canvas for easier recoloring, and i also included a few alternate colored textures
note: the download does NOT come with the body seen, only the tail portion
