another study of lleyendecker. the guy is from a magazine, I had Lleyendecker's art in front of me and I tried to replicate the style.

What medium did you use for these two pieces? I really like the way the strokes look on the prelim lines.

The shapes in Lleyendecker's shadows always puzzle me. Each shape is so crisp and clean. On top of that he has subtle chiaroscuro going on in the overall object that just 'pops' it out. I'm eager to know what observations you've come up with in your studies!
