In my ongoing pong with Dave, LightBulbMoon, his striking pong #68 titled "Our Reason To Be Here" Our Reason To Be Here by LightBulbMoon is now my Pong #69.

Made with Mandelbulb 3D using the formulas Amazing Box, _AmazingBox, koch_oct and _Transform with Julia off.

The image used in this fractal is my dA avatar image. It was used as a diffuse color map in the Wrap 2 mode. By carefully adjusting the sliders, I was able to get these dreamy images where I wanted them. They are not being used as a background map! Since all of the work for this fractal was done inside the MB3D software with no post work outside, it can still be considered a raw fractal and not a manipulation.

I intentionally divided the fractal into two parts, the dreamy facial images on top and the more realistic fractal forms on the bottom. This is also a dividing line between imaginary and real, as the title suggests. The fractal forms on the bottom were kept simple so that they didn't compete visually with the faces. I hope you like it; it was a new concept for me.
