A friend of mine, who had recently commissioned some fairy paintings from me, is working on writing a fantastic story which I am looking forward to creating illustrations for.

Though I have not yet had time to sit down and hammer out official artwork, I have done some sketches inspired by what he has told me so far.

This little fairy is inspired by the protagonist. There are some physical traits that are very different, but I think this character has the hope and tenacity that fits the story's heroine.
