Description

Originally a layered matte painting for a test animation based around my character Nuut. The teardrop-like structure in the foreground is actually a bar, The Taffeta - the scene of the animation showed Nuut and Pearl arriving at the bar to hang out for a drink and trade stories of embarassing childhood moments - and it nicely demonstrates the nature of how people live in Nuut's underground world. All construction is bolted to the sides of gigantic metal pipes that twist and turn through the hazy depths.
