Description

This has to be the most custom work I've ever done on a model. Besides the cab, frame, front end, and engine; everything was either hand made or taken off other kits.

The original truck can be found here- [link]

I started out with a 65 chevy step side kit, then chopped the roof a lot. It wasn't that easy, I ended up cutting the roof into like 6 different pieces, then added filler and sanded to make it fit good. The back end was completely custom made out of plastic sheets that I cut and fitted together to mimic the original truck. The tow boom was had made out of things I had lying around. The wheels and side mirrors are from a snaptite fire truck kit. The fuel lines running to the carbs are paperclips and a bunch of other stuff made up the rest of the engine. The front bumper is a piece of wood and the rubber stoppers are erasers I cut in half. The decals are pictures I took from the original truck and scaled down and glued on.

There are a few things I still want to add, but I'll add them when I find them.
