im not dead!
The last couple of weeks were quite a mess, and I think it's partly all been leading up till tomorrow (got my driving exam aahhhhhhhh) I really hope I pass just to be able to get back to my normal weeks without 2-3 hours of driving classes sprinkled randomly through them. I've finally come around to feeling more comfortable on the road, and am actually looking forward to just being able to drive by myself, but boi I get nervous when supervised
I've also partly been inactive since I've just been sitting on 2 commission pieces that currently are in progress, and I always hesitate to post random stuff while people are waiting on their paid pieces (usually it's no issue since I manage to get them done on a 1-2 weekly basis, but that tendency gets more noticeable if I'm also fully aware that it might still be a while until I finish anything)
But now that one of the main sources of anxious-feels is so close, I know that things will run smoother again after tomorrow, no matter if I pass or not (because even if I fail, I'll at least still have the experience of doing the exam - to feel more familiar next time)
Though I might still be a bit slow on replying to stuff :'>
(BTW - I've been posting some things on my Patreon in the mean time, mainly stuff I've done at school, which will be posted here later in a compilation www.patreon.com/remarin )

now with that out of the way let's talk a bit about the horse!
Though it's more of the same, I've still got lots to learn about how to portray weight in runs, I spent lots of energy on trying to get the perspective right, but it still is wonky in specific poses,, the tail is swishing nicely, but if it were for anything other than a practice loop it would be distractingly fancy... BUT I finally got a satisfying head-movement that feels somewhat believable. Compare that to my last try at a horse where I just avoided it completely:
And of course the biggest visual change, I've finally gotten around to get more comfortable at coloring stuff!
