I lost my job and fell into a deep depression. I decided that I needed a long, engaging anime to get involved in so I wouldn't just wallow in my misery. I had avoided this anime for years because I didn't like the art style and it seemed too silly for my taste. I was an idiot. This is an outstanding anime. I understand now why it's the number one best selling manga and one of the longest running anime of all time. I love these characters so much.
