First off, let me say that the original quote, "Negativity doesn't help me", came from David Ortiz. I edited it so the quote includes everyone, not just myself.

This is self-explanatory. We all see so much negativity and it just... brings us down. Seeing all of the anti- stamps, especially against stuff you like, or do, or whatnot... It makes you feel bad for liking it. It makes you feel bad for doing it.

I know some people mistake criticism for negativity, although it could be on the fault of both parties: (1) the critic did not convey ways to fix something and instead only points out flaws, and (2) the person receiving the criticism is a little bit sensitive.

I wish more people would realize this, but what are you going to do?
