This is one of my all-time favorite CYOA images, and is the reason why I scanned every image in this book, and then went on my quest to get other CYOA adventure books to scan. The idea of rescuing your lady partner, who happened to be a private investigator, after she's kidnapped by a gang of voodoo-preaching thieves in the midst of a costume party stuck with me for years. Far too few CYOA used a similar formula, surprisingly. As a guy, I only wish that the PC of the book had been depicted as a male. I love everything about this image otherwise.
