Practice sketches for a massive illustration I'm planning as a birthday gift for my roommate. Depicted here are the RMS Empress of China and the SS Imperator. I wasn't used to drawing vessels like these, so I wanted to practice getting their designs right. Once I got the scaling and overall designs correct, I moved on to start the final product...
