Fathomless Fog

Far from the world's grasp, in a realm where the sun

Flees in terror, a creature of shade is unfurled,

Pale skinned voluptuous, a mistress of dread,

Her visage a canvas of cosmic decay, unspun.

Her eyes, pools of shadow, swirl with a lust

For the dance of the stars she can never behold,

Long black hair flows like rivers of ink in the dust

Of a universe where chaos is young and bold.

Eldritch darkness, her loom, she weaves without cease,

Black slimy tendrils, an art of depravity,

They coil and entwine in a silent release

Of a prison without bars, a prison of gravity.

All life that dares venture into her embrace,

Is consumed by the hunger of ancient night,

The eldritch beings, her spawn from the abyss,

Feast on the marrow of galaxies, in their infinite might.

They glide through the cosmos, a ravenous horde,

Their gaze a chilling wind that freezes the core,

With singular purpose, they march unabated, ignored

By the silent witnesses of a universe that adores.

Fathomless fog, her essence, a shroud over light,

Her touch a whisper of a forgotten fright,

The universe bends to her will, unexplored,

Where she reigns, all is lost to the endless fight.

Life is but a spark in the vastness of her reign,

Fleeting moments that flicker and fade,

As she spreads her embrace, the fabric of time is stained

With the sorrowful cries of those she has made.

Yet in this abyss, a beauty so stark,

Where the foul and the fair coalesce,

In the heart of the dark, there's a glimmer of spark,

A promise of life, a chance to reverse.

But the cycle continues, the dance evermore,

As she spreads eldritch darkness, forevermore.
