Description

This was a fun one. The knife is an antique that my brother found and asked me to make a drop leg sheath for. The center design of the sheath features rattlesnake hide from a snake my brother harvested and cured. The rest of the leather is cowhide, either 4-5 oz or 7-8 oz, that is died a dark brown.

The rivets are all hand set, and all stitching is done by hand. The drop leg part features a solid brass ring that allows the sheath to move naturally with the leg and the leg strap with cross strips hugs the sheath to the leg securely. Definitely a one of a kind.
