Description
We invest money, time and effort in an enterprise because we believe in the happy ending. Every investment has a risk and you enter the game knowing it but still hoping for the best. One thing that I’ve learned with the stock market is the use of a stop loss. You just set an exit point and when the market goes against you automatically a robot sells your shares. It is a good tool to deal with emotional paralysis.
We humans most of the time stay attached to our investments. Even when things are going bad we still keep hoping for the best and sometimes we sink attached to our failures. It isn’t easy. What makes us humans can also get us in trouble.
I’m saying all this because I’m having to deal with life changes and I have to re-evaluate my choices and I’m seeing how hard it is to put an end to some lifetime investments.
Make use of stop loss, folks! Not all dreams can come true.
