Spending decades to try and kill your own brother only to die in the end yourself.
Brain washed by his own father, Ben trained for years to take down his own brother who was a vampire. Always either too close or step behind, Vad never gave him a chance. Even Ben gave up as he was too old to continue. At least his brother was there for his last dying breath and forgave him.
