Impact

Vision: When taking the picture you obviously understood where your centre focus would be and the water shows movement in your picture which leads to some interest in what to look at. However, the branch is very distracting and comes out of no where. Understandable that you can't really move it but nonetheless distracts the focus of white water and grey rock with a brown branch. Back to vision: it was obvious you were looking to show off the waterfall in the back but the branch distracts us from what you're trying to show. Also this doesn't take out any points from me but the water in this picture looks EXTREMELY calm and straight to me. Did you use a form of editing? It seems strange that the water is right next to a waterfall and isn't jumping or moving around.

Originality: Nature photography is a very popular type of photography, I do that form of photography. Even though many people have taken pictures of waterfalls yours is unique way of showing it with an also soothing look to it.

Technique: I see you used a symmetrical style because there is equal action in both sides of the picture. There is movement as I discussed with the water. Colours more or less blend together with the exception of the branch that has a distracting colour to it. The texture is mostly soft with even the rocks being rounded.

Impact: This picture has a very calming impact and portrays that very well with the lake and softness of the falling water. It looks almost as though it were clouds.
