You know, Bobsheaux actually analyzed this line when he reviewed the 1987 movie and stated that while other fans think it meant Prime knew he was going to his death, Bobsheaux interpreted it as "Megatron must be stopped...even if I have to kill him to do it." Pretty insightful, and his next line where he said that that line basically defined him as a character that respects life in all its forms and hates to kill is pretty accurate to Prime.
