Comet's chapter in the Book of Spells describes Toffee as the "lizard prince of the dark monster nations" and as soon as I read that I knew I had to draw Asper and Torvus as his royal guards. I still love how gigantic they are in comparison to him.

Toffee's outfit is modeled after Veritate's usual outfit. Since she's supposed to be a diplomat/representative, it made sense to draw Toffee in something similar.
