Something I believe I sketched late last year and decided to come back to earlier this year to finish. Some good ol' Bomberman fanart, since I hadn't finished any in a while. I really like the Super R series Konami is doing, but of course I still love the classic Hudson version of the series, too! Toad-like voices and all.

This was based on a little victory sprite animation I found somewhere years ago that is apparently from a Neo Geo arcade game called "Neo Bomberman". Basically a kind of redraw of sorts to see how it would look as an illustration. I dunno--I just really liked the little sprite animation and wanted to try drawing it. xD

Konami released a sequel to the Super Bomberman R game recently (and it's a third installment in general, after R Online), Super Bomberman R 2, which I have been very much excited for and looking forward to! I hope to get it and play it myself sometime.
