First proper pic I finished in the new art program I got. Hide Week is soon and we're slowly approaching his first birthday, I'm so excited sdfghj (I was looking forward to his birthday so much I literally forgot my birthday is like a week before lmao. Please give us that birthday art, Ishida, p l e a s e)
I love the themes for Hide Week this year - each day is a different character from Hide's name but I ever do the prompts in order so they won't be uploaded in order either rip
Anyway I'm really happy with how this turned out and I love the painting brushes on MediBang bc I don't feel like the art process is so linear anymore and I actually really enjoy the process of drawing again. For a while I've only been drawing because I wanted to see the end result but I actually enjoy doing it now thanks to this new style thing I've figured out so that's cool.
Also, if you're wondering why this entire drawing is a fuck ton of head canons piled up on top of eachother; I've always wanted to draw a dark skinned Hide so here he is, I always draw freckles on him, and as for the heterochromia - there's been big discourse recently in the Hide discord in regards to Hide's eye colour. Some people say it's green and others think it's brown so I just formed a compromise (I don't know why everyone arguing about this is so emotionally invested in it lmao)
