I was playing Creatures 3/Docking Station and happened to think that norns look a little like chibified lombaxes. So, here's Ratchet playing with one of them (they like their noses/ears scritched). She's a Magma Norn, if you couldn't tell by the coloring. They like the heat, and Veldin's most definately a warm planet.

Lombax/Norn similarities:
1. Bipedal (the monotremal mammal-ness of norns is debatable. They're furry, but they don't nurse their young. In fact, they kinda ignore 'em Lombaxes are most definately mammals, though).
2. Large and expressive eyes, ears, and mouth with a short muzzle.
3. Three claws toes (though norns only have four fingers, and lombaxes have five).
4. That little floofball on the end of their tails. Enough said.
