Sorry for the late update, at first I was just doing this series for a school project, but then I got lazy and kinda stopped when I handed the project in.

I didn't call this one "hanfu" because this type of makeup was only used for opera purposes, and back then people who do them are all men, because opera was not a job for women.
I dressed in beijing opera costume once, and found out that when they are doing the makeup they try to make the eyebrows look like they are tilting up, and red eyeshadows follow the pattern of the eyebrows. The face was painted pretty white, and lips were fully red.
