woo! Haven't designed characters for myself in a while 8D
basically, these two spirits are responsible for the passing of the sun. Fruhe is the spirit of dawn while Zwielicht is the spirit of dusk. Each evening dawn gives the sun to dusk for them to keep it hidden all night and then give the sun back in the morning to cross the sky again. The two are siblings, but they can never truly meet each other because it would mess up the natural order by causing the sun to rise and set at the same time. They try every single day to meet, but it is impossible. Fruhe is meant to represent optimism, lightheartedness and new beginnings. Zwielicht, on the other hand, symbolizes uncertainty, pessimism and things ending. This is ironic, however, because sunsets are typically seen as the most beautiful.
