Description
Flag of the Sultanate of Kilwa and also the Swahili League. The Confederation's chairman is the Rais wa Shirikisho, (i.e. Sultan of Kilwa)
Based on an Ottoman naval flag using the colours of Ajuran Sultanate and similar ones of east coast of Tanzania according to a Portuguese 1576 map (red and yellow)
