Description

Here he is The Legacy Evolution Commander Class Armada Universe Optimus Prime. Boy this was a very surprising find. Especially, at a GameStop. I had the original Armada Optimus Prime during my childhood. But it was donated after I moved. During those day I was into only the minicon figures than the regular transformer figures. I even had Jetfire and Overload too. But they were also donated after I moved. One thing I didn't know was that the trailer transforms on its own. And since I would just figure it out on my own when I was a kid. I never knew it could do that and it requires batteries. I guess was a good thing I didn't have it anymore. I would have been sad because GPS (Gold Plastic Syndrome). When I got older and learned about the it from TFwiki. The gold plastic had for the super mode would get brittle and fall apart. Also Transformers Armada was the first to introduce me to transformers. Aside that, This is and amazing figure of the Armada Optimus Prime. It has a more complex transformation with more articulation. Even the trailer can convert to the battle station, albeit in a simpler design. Which had to do for the transformation to its trailer and super mode legs. The Cab robot is truly amazing perfectly deigned to be like the original armada Optimus figure, but with more articulation and details. His super mode hands can open and close, but the port stays in place. He has is armada styled Ion Blaster and his truck smokestacks which can attach to his ion blaster. There are some new step to do in his transformation for both the core robot mode and super robot mode. He also has a matrix chamber with a removable Armada designed matrix. But, Wow this figure really bring back memories of transformers armada. Truly a transformer figure to get. Now I have to get armada universe Megatron.
