This is part of the Shadow Kingdom arc, in which Anna and Peabody have to fight off Pitch. This is the climax...Ansel tries to fight Pitch by himself, and despite putting up a good fight, loses. Caroline is worried and is about to get killed, so the King and Queen save the day!
