When Jinromon is exposed to a particular virus, especially from the gem on Talonmon's head, or succumbs to Garoumon's untamed natural instincts, it evolves into a corrupted form known as Hatimon. Hatimon operates solely on primal instinct, driven by insatiable predatory impulses. It relentlessly hunts for prey, reveling in the thrill of the chase, whether for mere pleasure or for unfathomable motives. Unlike Garoumon, Hatimon does not need the full moon for its evolution to occur.

One of it's known moves is called Plasma Tail Torrent in which Hatimon unleashes a concentrated plasma beam from its tail. Resembling a hydro jet in intensity, this high-velocity beam incinerates anything in its path, turning the very air it touches into a shimmering haze. Ideal for long-range attacks, this move combines precision with devastating power. Another known move from Hatimon is called Nightclaw Assault, Hatimon's claws become enveloped in swirling shadows. It slashes at its foes, leaving behind trails of dark energy that continuously drain the vitality of those struck, causing lingering damage over time.
