"If you have to choose between having an obsolete tank or no tank, it's better to have a tank".

Under this mentality, Ruhenia equipped many of it's smaller allies and client states with armament and equipped that had been phased out of service among the Ruhenian armed forces.

While thankful for the equipment, this didn't took from it that was obsolete and often woefully inadequate. While during the Maurician Wars this wasn't much of an issue as the large army of the Calintropian Empire had been lagging behind in the modernisation of it's armed forces -both in doctrine and equipment-, the later wars facing the modern MW alliance showed how this practice resulted in the allied forces of the Ruhenian poor performance -not for lack of training, but equipment-.

Amazons of Death from the 4th Brigade of the Pamelian Princely Army in service of Ruhenia during the Maurician Wars in the Calintropian Empire. Member of theUPC Alliancesince it's formation, when the war broke out between the UPC and Maurice I, the newly-crowned emperor of the Calintropian Empire and Moritania, Pamelia was quick to send a force of about 22,000 women and men to be part of the international force.

Like most of the minor allies of the Ruhenian-lead UPC Alliance, the Pamelian expeditionary force was largely equipped, supplied and paid by Ruhenia -including uniforms-. Their soldiers only used the traditional Pamelian beret with the national cockade, and the divisional and national emblems stitched to the Ruhenian uniforms. Like other elite formations, the Amazons of Death were issued camouflage jackets.

After the Pamelchristopherian War(3199 - 3201 a.a.H), the Principality of Pamelia became a protectorate of Südchristophenia and functioned as a suzerainty in which the Princess ruled the internal affairs of the principality. Meanwhile, the foreign policy and international relations of Pamelia where handled by the southern Ruhenians.

This situation lasted until the 3224 a.a.H, when the Ruhenian monarchy was able to seize back the Ruhenian home country from the Gastronomic Empire, which led to a restructuring of the Ruhenian hegemony.

Although it was no longer a protectorate, Pamelia remained in the Ruhenian Sphere of Influence -in political, economical and military matters-, so when Ruhenia formed the UPC, Pamelia, among many of the former colonies of Ruhenia, was among the first to join the newly-founded international organisation in 3237.

The UPC (Christopherian Pacifist Union) was the first international organisation with a principal mission to maintain Aierian world peace. This included preventing wars through collective security and arms control and settling international disputes through negotiation and arbitration. Yet, many nations of Aiers -most importantly, those of the MW Alliance- perceived it as being a puppet of Ruhenia and condemned it to fail by refusing to join the organisation.

After Maurice I, King of Moritania, was crowned as Emperor of the Calintropian Empire, two of his actions led to the empire breaking many of its treaties and endangering central Aels peace: First, his acts of territorial reaffirmation of the old empire, and second, his violent suppression of several nationalist rebellions. In front of this, Ruhenia took a belligerent stance to display Maurice I as an exemplar of the ideal of collective security of the UPC , and launched an ultimatum against the Calintropian emperor while forming an international UPC army with the other signatory nations.

Maurice I considered this an act of war, and declared war on the UPC, beginning the Maurician Wars (3238-3239 a.a.H), which were fought in Zarhuy and Aels.

While the UPC Alliance was ultimately successful in achieving the goals they set for the war, the ability of the UPC to form an international alliance spawning among all the continents worried the MW Alliance, especially considering their own expansionist, militarist goals. They formed their own parallel intergovernmental organisation tasked to promote international cooperation and create and maintain international order and peace: the HUN. Many have noted that for the imperialist, militarist MW to have created a peace organisation was highly ironic.

The conflicts between the UPC and the HUN escalated when the MW invaded Ruhenia in the MW-Ruhenian War (3245 a.a.H), with the UPC disbanding and their member nations quickly turning to the HUN, to avoid the involvement in the war against the MW.

Yet, the HUN never became a real forum for international order and peace, being only a tool of the MW.

This marked the end of Ruhenian influence over the Principality of Pamelia, who since then will gravitated instead toward the victorious MW in terms of international politics.
