Decided to get back to my next gen while focusing on my OCs, I felt like it's been a while since then

Anyways, I decided to start with one of my new additions to Sonic: The Next Generation (whose name may be familiar to some ^^).

DESCRIPTION

Melody is the next Songoose for her generation. She strives to give her all on stage and the battleground. However, she’s not just doing this to further her own career, but to do good for everybody. Melody is a polite and outgoing girl who is willing to stick up to whoever is in all sorts of danger. When either ignored or underestimated, though, she can be openly frustrated. Additionally, she never hesitates to bare her soul whenever she’s having an off day. She also has a bad habit of going boy crazy, easily given to crushes and romantic fantasies at any time. Nevertheless, Melody possesses a loyal spirit, doing all she knows best in order to help protect Mobius – just as her mom and her friends did in the past.

RELATIONSHIP(S)

Melody’s relationship with Ash is strained beyond repair; since childhood, she wanted to spend time with her dad, only to receive feeble excuses from him. Now he tries to reconnect with her, only for him to receive a cold shoulder. Regardless, she has a strong mother-daughter bond with Mina. She’s always looked up to her mom since she was a kid, and even follows her footsteps to become a singer- the next Songoose.

Melody is a big fan of fashion designer/businesswoman Honey the Cat. One can only imagine her giddiness when the feline officially picked her as her apprentice. She likes her enough to even view her as a second mom, just as Honey sees her as her own daughter.

Melody met up with Dash when they were kids and have been good friends since then. Although they sometimes met up – mainly due to the mongoose’s busy schedule, they still catch up via video chat. Melody even sees the hedgehog as a source of inspiration for both freedom and adventure.

Melody met May through the latter’s older brother. They would spend a good chunk of their pastime chatting about fashion, music… basically common interests. She’s even a sort of spiritual cheerleader for the hedgehog whenever she’s down.

Melody first met up with Amethyst at a fashion event in Empire City. Since that day, they became fashion buddies. Whenever they off their schedules, they would participate in casual activities such as shopping, go for coffee, or combat training.
