My tattoo by Shaydee90 on DeviantArt (original) (raw)

This tattoo was drawn by Chuzo Fernandez, a spanish tattoo artist working at Leading Light tattoo and piercing center in Bergen, Norway. It took 6 hours in total and hurt quite alot!

It cost me 1228 USD

It's two weeks old now an it itches like hell at the moment, but I love it!

I've suffered from agoraphobia for 8 years now. I also have AD/HD but I wouldnt say I'm suffering. That's why I chose the Koi Dragon.

Q: What does the Koi Dragon symbolize?
A: The koi fish in Japanese folklore represents the overcoming of obstacles, because the koi fish travels up the yellow river and when it comes to the end of the river it transforms into the dragon; thus overcoming the adversity represented by the strong river to fufill its own destiny.

The Koi is the symbol of strength and will, the will to go against odds to reach the destiny. And the Dragon is the power and ferocity. The mystery and Aura.
