Disney mermaids are fun as hell to draw and I'll forever be that little 8 year old girl who wants to be Ariel when I grow up (but a slightly less naive and stupid version)... but dudes the ocean's a tough place. There's sharks and creepy things no one wants to think about and oil spills and shit... mermaids need to be a little more prepared.

This one's mildly prepared. There's a sword. Right there. And some stuff in some pouches. Maybe magic. Who the hell knows. I don't even remember drawing this.

(BTW I know, red hair and green tail. But no, not supposed to be any version of Ariel whatsoever)
