Here is the third request that I chose to do and draw for and from this month's request journal. This one was asked by who wanted me to draw their OC Shiva the Grim Reaper. I went with this one because the second I saw the design, I quickly got the idea of what this would look like. This is why I chose this one. The inspiration for the look of this drawing came from a Tokyo Mew Mew/Mew Mew Power tribute to one of the characters in it named Renee or Zakuro. There was one moment in it that I paused and I quickly knew this would work for this request. I decided to make this a traditional drawing because I can draw a bit faster traditionally rather than digitally. However, I also wanted to try out the shading like thing you see in this but also the tones and colours in the moon background like the original shot that this is based off of. I also wanted to try this mixture of watercolour markers with some other markers and stuff. They also provided me an image of their character's weapon. Now the rest of the weapon was in front of the spikes, but there was so much detail and it was hard to pick which part could be lit up. So I slightly changed it to what you see here. I did this because the amount of colour shown on the weapon works like this more than it did originally during the development process of this drawing. I also did my very best to make the character look like it did in the image I was provided whilst still working and looking good and appealing in my art style. This was tough at points but I had a lot of fun making this and I like how it turned out. So here it is.

When the light is gone and the night fades in and takes over the sky and the world, the legendary Grim Reaper will appear, mechanical scythe in hand. So if Shiva, the Demonhog or the Grim Reaper finds you or sees you, you're night will forever change....for better, or for worse.
