Impact

This is an amazing piece that captures the true essence of not just the rainbow, but of the other elements in the sky as well. The positioning of the rainbow is perfect, and its colours have been captured perfectly by the photographer. The somewhat darker lighting of the picture gives it an almost painted-effect. It's very hard to capture a rainbow, but this seems to be one of those times where it has worked! The rainbow almost seems to disappear into the clouds and doesn't seem to quite make it to the ground, making for a lovely shot that makes you wonder...where IS Toto?
