Description

For a while I've wanted to make the portrait of Esmé Reverend keeps in his bedroom, so I made some time for that. It's among his most prized possessions and the only thing he has of her likeness.

The original image was made using five colors from a generated palette: #CEBEBE, #ECE2D0, #D5B9B2, #A26769, and #6D2E46. The usual safety orange was added on soft light for the sake of the weird thing I have with eyes. The other version is what his photo actually looks like, which is rather worn and faded in places after being dragged across the region from Hagali to Huot.
