Richard: As the ruler of a country, I'm sure you can imagine how impressive my wardrobe can be Sweating a little... In my honest opinion, I have too many clothes. My wife usually helps pick out my clothes for royal events, because that is something she grew up doing. Generally, I wear coats or robes with intricate details, often inspired by flowers. What I wore for the summer solstice celebration this year was inspired by hydrangea flowers, with the colors associated with summer; blue, green and yellow. I also wear beaded or embroidered slippers. They're pretty comfortable, considering ceremonies and rituals aren't physically intensive activities. During such occasions, I also sport a simple crown with the royal flower; the angrec.

My casual attire is VERY different. In the colder parts of the year, I wear pants, and in the warmer parts of the year, I'll wear highwaters or shorts, but they are always black or navy blue, because those are the colors that will match with whatever shirt or sweater I choose to wear. My shirts and sweaters are very simple as well. 99% of them as solid-colored with some sort of trim. I think I have maybe one or two floral shirts, and maybe a band shirt... I also prefer they are loose. I never liked form-fitting clothes. All they do is emphasize just how long and lanky I am... Dead (RIP) I don't like billowing clothes either.

Footwear of choice would be boots, and I don't usually tuck my pants into them. I'll wear sandals if I'm going to the beach or somewhere where my feet are MEANT to get wet.

Oh yes! And I wear a moon bag when I go out. Some people know them as a "belt bag." It's otherwise known as the clincher that proves you are the Embarrassing Father type. Even my friends who are fathers tease me about it. I don't care what anyone else says; when you are wrangling small children, it helps to have all your essentials strapped on.

As for accessories, I wear my wedding ring on a chain around my neck, because I do so many things with my hands that I would probably lose it otherwise. Now, the royal staff... That requires a bit of a history lesson.

A little over 500 years ago, there was the Eidolons--sort of the gods of the land, based off historical evidence--and the Grimmigs. Other countries would dump their criminals and various other social rejects onto Abaddon as a death sentence. However, the exiled were a hardy folk. They not only survived, but found natural resources and participated in international trade. All of a sudden, the countries that banished them in the first place wanted to stake a claim on the resources, so war broke out. Problem was, the Abaddonians were fighting amongst themselves as well before the war started; humans vs nonhumans. So a man named Regulus struck a deal with the Eidolons, who were tired of all the fighting. He swore to maintain the peace on Abaddon between the humans and nonhumans if they would loan him their power. So, a charred twig from a fireplace became the golden staff and a pebble from a stream became the royal jewel my wife bears. Regulus and his wife were able to unite the Abaddonians and fend off the invaders, but they had to keep the promise and maintain peace among the people as well.

Despite its age, not much is known about the royal staff and jewel, besides the fact that it's a very powerful tool. What's convenient about it is that it will change form whenever I need to go incognito. It can take the form of a golden wand (and make me look like a pretentious bastard) that I can fit in my boot, a golden anklet (which I usually wear with shorts) or a small rod that I can fit in my pocket.

I recall some inquiries regarding my smock and wrap-around hood. It's not meant to hide my identity when I'm doing street art. The main purpose is to cover my clothes because I can get really messy when I'm caught in the throws of creativity Sweating a little... It was actually a gift from my late father-in-law. I sewed on the sunflower pockets since they were his favorite flower. For whatever reason~ I'm now known as "Sunflower Pockets," on the streets. Every once in a while, my works will make it into newspapers under that alias. I'm assuming someone saw me and only remembered the pockets on my smock.
