This year, after four years of my participation in this challenge, I changed ink for lino, spades and printing ink. I set out on a mission to create 31 pieces of linocuts that will be unique in that there will always be only ONE original PIECE that was created that day. There will NOT be any overprinting in the plenum because I want to preserve the absolute originality of every piece of the inktober challenge as when creating with ink.
Made matrices will be printed on handmade Indian paper, which I personally brought from Edinburgh, traveled with me in my backpack to the north and, moreover, was moistened by the Atlantic air during my wanderings.
I really liked this challenge, because it is mainly about the enjoyment of creation and brings together the imaginative thinking of people from all over the world. Hopefully I'll be able to get the whole month together again.
