Midwest Hunters Club Fall Classic

This is a dual HARPG & DARPG Show!

Starting Date: November 23rd, 2023

Ending Date: January 24th. 2024

Location: South Dakota, USA

Sanctioned by: DARPGHandlers

This show will take place outdoors in South Dakota. Dogs will be shown on the grass in an area similar to image one. There will be white X fencing for Conformation. While out hunting a variety of landscapes can be encountered similar to all images. As always be wary of the larger natural wildlife when hunting. Horses will be shown on the grass as well in an area similar to image one. There will be portable two rail white fencing put up around the perimeter of the "arena".

General Rules

  1. This is an effort based show.
  2. You may enter has many dogs/horses as you'd like.
  3. Dogs/horses can only enter into a class once.
  4. Tracing is not allowed, unless for HARPG entries.
  5. Collabs are not permitted, but commissions are.
  6. Background is up to your interpretation however some examples have been added.
  7. Backgrounds may be reused but will score lower.
  8. Handlers are not required to be fully human, ie Shapeshifter, Anthro, Witch, etc.
  9. Lines may not be re-used.

Judging

- Comparison to Gallery (1-20/One to Twenty): Entry will be judged against the artist's previous gallery to see if there has been any new brush usage and technique, etc. Pose differences as well as improvement to art or testing out new mediums. How much effort seems to have been put into the entry, rather than it seeming rushed.

- Background Accuracy(1-10/One to Ten): How accurate the background is to the given image suggestions.

- Handler(1-5/One to Five): How much of the handler is shown.

- Breed Standard (1-5/One to Five): How correct the dog is to the written standard for their breed in colour, conformation, gait, etc. We use UKC for this show! - CONFORMATION ONLY

- Word Count (0-3/Zero to Three): +1 (one) for every 100 (one hundred) words up to 3 (three) points (300/three hundred words).

- Including Wildlife(1-10/One to Ten): Depicting wildlife in the background.

- RNG (1-5/One to Five)

- Registered Handler(2): If your dog is shown by a registered handler with the DARPGHandlers group and depicted in the image you will gain an extra 2 points.

-Registered Dog/Horse(2): If your dog/horse is registered with our group you will gain an extra 2 points

-Advertising(2): If you advertise the show you will gain an extra 2 points.
