Description

Supergirl hung suspended by eight tentacles, each of her limbs clamped by two arms. Weak and disoriented from exposure to the Kryptonite lamp she sweated and baked under its green hue. Although she was too groggy to think coherently, it would have made no difference: her bondage was secure. Without assistance there was no hope for her escape, and without a timely assistance there would no need for escape: Kryptonian radiation was lethal.

Suddenly from outside her cell came a cacaphony of screams and the sound of metal crashing upon metal. Was a rescue in progress?
