Kato Takahashi – 7 feet of pure monster muscle and the starChampion of the school’s judo, wrestling and boxing clubs. He’s big for his age, but it works to his advantage. Despite his size, he’s actually pretty agile. However, Kato has just one minor flaw. . .he becomes a bowl of mush whenever I comes to talking to girls. Ever since his mother was killed in a gang shootout, Kato has hated guns and refuses to touch one even when the infection starts. He prefers to get up close and personal with his fists as well as blunt objects, which he can use with supper effectiveness. Just put a crowbar and a metal bat in his hands and the infected don’t stand a chance. And if that’s not enough, he favorite weapon, his handy chainsaw will work as well. As the group continues to move through this nightmare, Kato does his best to support his friends. . .but also. . .to find the courage to confess to Tatsuki how he feels about her.
