This is the eighth of twelve unused characters I will be redesigning.

Bio

August is the most shy Monthly Maiden, and tends to hang around the more confident Maidens, like July. At the age of fifteen, when August and the other Maidens were appointed as advisors to the Zodiac Spirits, she was assigned to Virgo. August is quite clumsy and is prone to dropping and breaking things, which tends to anger her precise and organised superior. She is often declared as “the most inconsequential Maiden”, which January obviously condemns. Despite her shyness, August isn’t afraid to tell the truth, even if it means everyone will be mad at her for a while.

Design

First of all, let’s address the elephant in the room: the wheat. August is basically the harvest month, so I just slapped two ears of wheat onto August’s cranium. I don’t have much of an explanation for August’s personality, so I’ll just leave it at that. Her yellow colour scheme has two meanings: the first being that yellow is technically an autumnal colour (and August in Ireland is autumn), and the second being that wheat is practically yellow.
