Left to right:

- Armia Krajowa - the biggest polish resitance organization. AK was created from the transformation of Związek Walki Zbrojnej (professional soldiers), it was in its composition Gwardia Ludowa WRN/Oddziały Wojskowe Powstańczego Pogotowia Socjalistów (socialists), Socjalistyczna Organizacja Bojowa (socialists), Unia (christian democraty), Konfederacja Narodu (nationalists) and Narodowa Organizacja Wojskowa (nationalists). AK was subject to the polish government in London, 300 000-360 000 peoples.

- Bataliony Chłopskie - agrarianists organization of polish resistance. BCh was subject to the Central Direction of the People's Movement and was recognized polish government in London. In 1944 part was subordinated to the Armia Krajowa, part of the Armia Ludowa, independent rest. 160 000 peoples.

- Narodowe Siły Zbrojne - polish nationalists and fascists organization in resistance. After battle of Stalingrad NSZ suspended their activities against the Nazis recognizing communists, socialists, agrarians and right-wing radicals for bigger enemies. Some of NSZ fighters collaborated with the Germans. Up to 62 000 peoples.

- Armia Ludowa - general left wing polish resitance organization dominated in the command by communists, born of communists Gwardia Ludowa PPR. AL was subject to the State National Council, after July 1944 combined with the regular Polish Army in Soviet Union in the Polish People's Army. 45 000-55 000 peoples.

- Polska Armia Ludowa - socialists organization of polish resistance independent from socialists from Armia Krajowa and communists from Armia Ludowa. PAL operated only in Mazovia and the Kielce region. 2800 peoples.
